Pope John Paul II - our compatriot - is the patron of the
school. The tradition of our school included pilgrimages to
visit the Holy Father. |
Following the tradition, we were present in Vatican to pay
our last respects
to
Pope John Paul II,
we attended Beatification
and Canonisation Masses as well. |

The school in Rzeszow
is coeducational. Students attend Gymnasium - lower secondary school (age
13-15) and Lyceum – upper secondary school (students at
the age of 16 –18). |
|
Our school is involved in cooperation and exchange with
other schools in the European Union especially in Germany
and Italy. International
co-operation between schools gives
pupils and teachers an opportunity |
|
to work together,
enables participants to exchange experiences, explore
European culture and increase their general knowledge. |
|
The school views after school activities as an integral part
of the education and offers a wide range of clubs. Students
of "Uncle's Friends" prayer group follow the favourite
trails of John Paul II. |
The young priest Karol Wojtyla
enjoyed hiking, skiing,
backpacking, and kayaking. Young people called him "an
uncle". |
