CHRISTIAN SONG CONTEST

IN HONOUR OF JOHN PAUL II

1

Laudate Deum is a Christian song contest held annually in October since 2004. Its aim is to mark the anniversary of  Pope Saint John Paul II’s  election to the See of Peter on 16th  October, 1978.

2 The competition brings together students from the Podkarpacie region to perform as solo artists, duets, bands or choirs not only to win but mainly to express their gratitude to God for John Paul II’s pontificate.
3 The song contest gathers lower secondary school singers, bands as well as parish children’s choirs. The participants can choose to sing in Polish, English, French, German or Latin.
4

Laudate Deum, as a religious and cultural event, is  a wonderful way for both the artists and the audience members to strengthen  their faith, worship God through singing and discover the remarkably rich teachings of Saint Pope John Paul II.
